Best Amazon FBA Tools in 2026: What Working Sellers Actually Pay For
Thirty-two Amazon seller tools ranked by category, with pricing verified in October 2026, free-plan notes, and what our own tool stack costs per month.
Reader-supported — we may earn a commission from links on this page, at no extra cost to you. Details
Most “best FBA tools” lists are written by people who have never shipped a pallet. This one is written from inside a working private-label account, and every tool below is scored on four things: whether it does the job it sells, whether its pricing page tells the truth, whether the data it shows matches Seller Central, and whether we actually run it ourselves. Thirty of the thirty-two tools here are in our own stack. Two are not, and we say so.
How we score
We do not rank by feature count or by who pays the biggest commission. Each tool gets the same four questions:
- Job done. Does it solve one real seller problem end to end, or does it do eight things badly?
- Price honesty. Is the price on the pricing page the price on the invoice? Annual-only “from” prices, hidden add-ons, and “contact sales” all lose points.
- Data quality. When the dashboard says you made $1,000, does the settlement report agree?
- We run it. Tools badged “Runs our store” are paid for out of our own account. The others are tested on trials and recommended comparatively.
Pricing was verified on vendor pages in October 2026. Every review linked below carries its own “checked” line, so you can see when a number was last confirmed. Some of the links on this page are affiliate links; most are not, and the verdicts do not change either way.
The comparison table
Tools appear in the order of our categories, winners first within each. “From” is the cheapest paid plan on the vendor’s own pricing page, usually on annual billing.

Product Research & Sourcing
Winner: Helium 10. Our verdict from the full review: the one subscription almost every private-label seller ends up paying for, because Cerebro alone is worth the Platinum price. Platinum is $129/mo billed monthly or $99/mo on the annual plan, and there is no Starter tier anymore, so Platinum is the entry point for paid use. Black Box handles demand validation, Cerebro and Magnet handle keywords, and the free plan is enough to learn the interface before you pay. Our advice is unchanged: buy Platinum annual, learn Cerebro properly, and ignore most of the rest until a specific problem sends you looking. Try it.
Alternate: Alibaba.com. Still where most private-label products start, and safe enough if you treat it as a directory of factories rather than a store. Buyer accounts are free and Trade Assurance costs nothing; the only cost is the payment-processing fee at checkout.
Keywords & PPC
Winner: Data Dive. The best keyword-research workflow for a private-label launch, and the tool we would keep if we could only keep one PPC-adjacent subscription. Starter is $39/mo, or $32/mo on the annual plan, with 100 dive ASINs and 25 Rank Radar keywords. It takes Cerebro exports and turns them into a ranked master list and a listing plan, which is the step Helium 10 leaves to you. Pair it with Helium 10 and the keyword side of the business is covered. Try it.
Alternate for ad automation: Scale Insights. The PPC automation we trust with real budgets, because every rule it runs is one we wrote and can read. Priced per automated ASIN, from $78/mo for five, with a 30-day trial that is actually free. We have no affiliate relationship with Scale Insights.
Alternate for rank tracking: Sellerise includes a keyword tracker on every plan, covered below.
Listings & Creative
Winner: Canva. The tool for every image that is not your main listing photo, and the free plan is genuinely enough until you need a brand kit. Pro is $18/mo billed monthly or $144 a year, which works out to $12/mo, for one seat. Secondary images, A+ panels, and ad creative all come out of it without a designer.
Alternate for video: JoinBrands. The most predictable way to buy honest-looking product video at scale, and the free plan is the right place to start. Pay-as-you-go is $0/mo with a 15% platform fee on each job; Start-up is $99/mo with a 12% fee, 4K delivery, and direct creator outreach. Try it.
Alternate for one-off work: Fiverr. The right marketplace for a defined job with a clear deliverable, such as listing copy or an image edit, with a 5.5% buyer fee on top. Wrong for ongoing help; that is Upwork’s job.
Profit Analytics & Alerts
Winner: Sellerise. The best value in Amazon profit analytics right now, and the dashboard we open before Seller Central every morning. Starter is $19.99/mo for one account, 1,000 orders a month, and 20 tracked keywords; Growing is $39.99/mo and adds reimbursement tools and Search Query Performance insights. The smart alerts have caught listing changes before we noticed them in Seller Central. Start on the 7-day trial, pick Growing, and let the reimbursement audit decide whether it stays. We have no affiliate link for Sellerise; the review links straight to the vendor.
Alternate: sellerboard. The profit dashboard to buy if you want the clearest picture for the least effort, and the better choice than Sellerise for a seller who hates settings pages. Standard is $19/mo, or $15/mo annual, with 3,000 orders a month and lost-inventory refund tracking included. A one-month free trial with no card is the whole argument. We do not run it ourselves; the recommendation is comparative.
Repricing
Winner: Aura. The repricer we would pick for a wholesale or arbitrage account today, mainly because it explains what it did and why. Pricing scales with sales volume: Starter is $37/mo up to $15,000 in monthly sales, Essential is $77/mo up to $50,000, Plus is $157/mo up to $250,000. We are a private-label account and do not run a repricer, so Aura is reviewed on its trial and against the alternatives, not from our own Buy Box data. For competitive listings it is the current default. Start on the 14-day trial with floors set on every SKU before you turn anything on. Try it.
Nothing else in this category is reviewed yet; Seller Snap and BQool are on the list.
Reimbursements & Refunds
Winner: Sellerise on the Growing plan. Reimbursement claims are included at $39.99/mo with no percentage of recoveries taken, which is the whole argument against paying a service a quarter of your money. If you already run Sellerise for profit analytics, the audit is effectively free.
Alternate: Carbon6 Seller Investigators. The right reimbursement service if you want someone else to file the claims, and the wrong one if you already run Sellerise. The fee is 25% of recovered funds with no monthly cost and a free initial audit. One caveat from the review: SPS Commerce sold the Seller Investigators business in mid-2026, so confirm who you are contracting with.
Alternate: sellerboard includes lost-inventory refund tracking on every plan from $19/mo, which is enough for a small catalog.
Accounting & Finance
Winner: QuickBooks Online. Not the best accounting software, but the one every US ecommerce accountant speaks fluently, which matters more. Simple Start is $38/mo, but an FBA seller with cost of goods needs Plus at $140/mo for inventory tracking.
Pair it with ConnectBooks. The accounting sync to choose when you need true per-SKU profit in your books, not just a clean settlement summary. Gold starts at $149/mo for daily summary posting; Diamond at $199/mo adds per-SKU posting and landed cost. Every plan has a 30-day free trial.
On the banking side: American Express Business Cards turn supplier payments and ad spend, the two biggest expenses in the business, into points, starting with the $0-annual-fee Blue Business Plus. Wise Business is the cheapest sane way to pay an overseas supplier and to get paid from a foreign Amazon marketplace: $31 one-time to open, no monthly fee, conversion from 0.23%.
Inventory, Prep & Logistics
Winner: SoStocked. The inventory planner that finally stopped our stockouts, and still the most Amazon-literate forecasting tool we have used. It models lead times, seasonality, and FBA restock limits. Pricing is the weak spot: ProfitFlow is $97/mo, while the inventory product is listed at $175/mo on sostocked.com and $250/mo on the SPS Commerce page. Treat it as $175 to $250 a month and confirm on a demo.
Alternate for sourcing: Alibaba.com, free for buyers, covered under research above.
Alternate for off-Amazon orders: AfterShip Tracking. The tracking layer worth adding the day your Shopify or Etsy store starts getting “where is my order” emails. Essentials is $29/mo on the annual plan, or $35/mo monthly, with a free tier below that.
Multichannel & Storefronts
Winner: Shopify. The obvious choice for a brand’s own storefront, and the right second channel only once your Amazon listings are already working. Basic is $39/mo billed monthly or $29/mo annual, with a 2.9% plus 30 cents card rate.
Alternates by channel. Sellbrite is the simplest way to keep one inventory count honest across Amazon, Etsy, eBay, Walmart, and Shopify, from $29/mo with a real free plan, as long as you do not need it to do anything clever. TikTok Shop is a real second marketplace for products that demonstrate well on video, with no monthly fee and a 6% referral fee, and a time sink for products that do not. Etsy is worth opening if your product honestly fits its rules: $0.20 per listing and about 9.5% in fees per sale, the same range as Amazon.
Print-on-demand. Printful when consistency matters more than the lowest base price; Printify when it does not, with quality control shifted onto you. Both are free to start, and both charge $24.99/mo on annual billing for their discount tier. Try Printful or try Printify.
Marketing & Customers
Winner: Manychat. The cheapest reliable way to turn social comments into attributed Amazon sales, and worth it on the Pro plan the moment you run creator content. Billing is on active contacts, not list size: Essential is $17/mo, or $14/mo annual, for 250 active contacts; Pro is $39/mo, or $29/mo annual, for 2,500. Try it.
Alternate for email: Klaviyo. The email platform to use once you sell off Amazon, because it knows what every customer bought and lets you act on it. Free to 250 profiles, then from $20/mo. Mailchimp, from $13/mo, is the pick for a newsletter you send a few times a month; switch to Klaviyo the moment emails need to know what someone bought.
Alternate for lapsed customers: PostPilot. The only marketing channel in this stack that reaches customers who stopped opening email. The platform is free; you pay per card from about 64 cents, and Growth is $99/mo for larger brands.
Operations & Outsourcing
Winner: Google Workspace. The first subscription a serious seller should buy, because a domain email is the difference between a brand and a hobby in every supplier’s inbox. Business Starter is $7 per user per month on an annual commitment, or $8.40 month to month.
Alternates. Trello is the project board a seller and a VA can agree on in ten minutes, free for a small team and $5 per user after that. Zapier is the fastest way to connect two tools that do not talk to each other, free for 100 tasks a month and $19.99/mo on annual billing after that, as long as you watch the task count. Upwork is where sellers hire their first VA, PPC manager, or bookkeeper on an ongoing contract, for a 5% client fee. LZ Virtual Mail, formerly Earth Class Mail, is the virtual mailbox to use when a real business address and scanned mail matter more than the lowest price, from $39/mo.
Courses & Education
Nothing reviewed yet. We rate courses by how much of the material we actually used, which takes time; the first reviews land when they are done.
Prep Supplies & Gear
Nothing reviewed yet. Label printers, scales, and poly bags are coming, with the exact models on our prep table.
What our stack costs
This is the sum of the cheapest paid plan for every tool badged “Runs our store” on this site, taken from the same frontmatter that renders each review. It is a from-price total, not our invoice: on some tools we are on a higher tier, on others we use the free plan. It is still the most honest “what does an FBA software stack cost” number we can publish without printing our bills.
Twenty-two of the thirty tools have a fixed monthly price:
| Tool | From |
|---|---|
| ConnectBooks | $149 |
| Helium 10 | $99 |
| JoinBrands | $99 |
| PostPilot | $99 |
| SoStocked | $97 |
| Scale Insights | $78 |
| Data Dive | $39 |
| LZ Virtual Mail | $39 |
| QuickBooks Online | $38 |
| AfterShip Tracking | $29 |
| Sellbrite | $29 |
| Shopify | $29 |
| Printful | $24.99 |
| Printify | $24.99 |
| Klaviyo | $20 |
| Sellerise | $19.99 |
| Zapier | $19.99 |
| Manychat | $17 |
| Mailchimp | $13 |
| Canva | $12 |
| Google Workspace | $7 |
| Trello | $5 |
| Total | $987.96 |
The other eight have no fixed monthly fee and are priced per transaction or not at all: Alibaba.com (free for buyers), American Express Business Cards ($0 annual fee on Blue Business Plus), Carbon6 (25% of recoveries), Etsy ($0.20 per listing), Fiverr (5.5% buyer fee), TikTok Shop (6% per sale), Upwork (5% client fee), and Wise Business ($31 one-time).
Call it about $990 a month in fixed software cost for the full stack, before transaction fees. Nobody should start there. The three tools in the Starter Stack banner on our homepage, Helium 10 at $99, Data Dive at $39, and Sellerise at $19.99, come to about $158 a month and cover research, ranking, and profit, which is most of the work.
Tools we did not include and why
- Viral Launch shut down in January 2026. Any list still recommending it has not been updated this year.
- Jungle Scout is the obvious omission. We have not reviewed it yet; it is a Helium 10 competitor and a review and head-to-head are both on the list.
- Keepa has no affiliate program, which is not a reason to leave a tool out. The honest reason is that we have not tested it enough to write a review that meets the rubric above.
- Seller Snap, BQool, Getida, InventoryLab, A2X, Link My Books: on the list, not yet tested.
FAQ
What is the minimum tool stack for a new FBA seller? Helium 10 on Platinum and a profit dashboard, either Sellerise or sellerboard. Add Data Dive when you are ready to launch and write a listing. Everything else waits for a specific problem.
Do I need Helium 10 and Data Dive? Not strictly: Data Dive now runs on its own included data and no longer needs a Helium 10 subscription. We still run both, because Helium 10 covers research, alerts and a second sales estimate that Data Dive does not. Together they cost $131 a month on annual billing. Our Data Dive vs Helium 10 comparison explains when one is enough.
Is Jungle Scout better than Helium 10? We have not reviewed Jungle Scout yet, so we will not pretend to have a verdict. The head-to-head is coming.
Why is sellerboard listed if you do not use it? Because it is a credible alternative to Sellerise and the comparison helps readers. Reviews of tools we do not run say so in plain words.
How do you make money from this page? Seven of the tools here pay us a commission if you sign up through a “Try it” link. The other twenty-five do not. Our own subscriptions are never routed through this site’s links, and the verdicts above would read the same without any of them.
