Verdict: the PPC automation we trust with real budgets, because every rule it runs is one we wrote and can read.

    What it does

Scale Insights sits on top of Amazon Ads and executes bid and budget changes on a schedule you define. You write rules in plain conditions (if ACoS over 40% for 14 days and more than 10 clicks, lower bid 15%), attach them to campaigns, and it runs them daily or hourly. It also harvests search terms into new campaigns, negates the ones that only spend, and lets you build full campaign structures in bulk from a keyword list.

The reporting layer is the second reason to use it: sales and ad data per keyword and per ASIN, with the organic-versus-paid split that Amazon’s own console hides.

    Pricing (checked 20 October 2026)

Plans are priced by the number of automated ASINs (one ASIN in one marketplace counts as one). Monthly, no contract. Annual billing is about 20% less.

    • Scale 5: $78/mo (5 ASINs)
    • Scale 10: $98/mo
    • Scale 20: $178/mo
    • Scale 35: $288/mo
    • Scale 50: $388/mo
    • Scale 100: $688/mo
    • The 1% Plan: 1% of monthly ad spend, unlimited ASINs, by request.

The 30-day trial gives full features with automation limited to one product in one marketplace. All plans cover 12 marketplaces.

    Who it is for

Private-label sellers with a handful of ASINs and a few thousand dollars a month of ad spend, who understand PPC well enough to write a rule and want to stop making the same bid changes by hand every week. Agencies managing many small accounts fit too.

    Who should skip it

Anyone who wants the software to decide strategy for them. Scale Insights executes; it does not think. If you do not know what ACoS target you want, buy a course before you buy this. Sellers with hundreds of ASINs should also price the 1% plan against the per-ASIN tiers before choosing.

    Runs our store

Scale Insights runs the bid changes across our advertised ASINs. Getting the rule set right is front-loaded work; once it is right, it needs only small edits, and the search-term harvesting replaces a weekly spreadsheet chore.

    The honest caveats

The interface is dated and the learning curve is real. Rules that look sensible can interact badly (two rules lowering the same bid on the same day), so start with a small set and watch it for a week. And the per-ASIN pricing climbs fast once you automate every variation.

    Bottom line

For an operator who knows their numbers, this is the cheapest way to run disciplined PPC at scale. We have no affiliate relationship with Scale Insights.
