Verdict: the virtual mailbox to use when a real business address and scanned mail matter more than the lowest price, and it survived the rebrand intact.

What it does

LZ Virtual Mail gives your business a street address in the US. Mail that arrives is photographed, and on request opened and scanned to PDF, with the originals stored, shredded, or forwarded. Checks can be deposited for you. The service was Earth Class Mail for twenty years; LegalZoom acquired it, and in 2025 the brand became LZ Virtual Mail, with the old domain redirecting and the old help center still online.

For a seller the uses are concrete: a stable address for Seller Central, suppliers, and state filings that does not change when you move; a place for the paper checks that still arrive from some partners; and a way to run a US business from anywhere.

• Starter MailBox: $39/mo, 5 mail items, 2 recipients.
• Essentials MailBox: $59/mo, 25 items, 5 recipients.
• Premium MailBox: $119/mo, 50 items, 20 recipients.
• Startup MailRoom: $179/mo, 100 items, unlimited recipients.
• Business MailRoom: $299/mo, 250 items.

All plans: scans free up to 20 pages per document, unlimited scan storage, free shredding, junk mail not counted. Overage is $3 per item, an extra address $30/mo, an extra recipient $5/mo. Check deposit: five included, then $2 each. Forwarding: $1.25 per shipment plus postage plus $1 per item.

Who it is for

Remote or relocating sellers, non-US sellers who need a US address, and anyone tired of paper. Starter covers a business that gets a handful of real letters a month.

Who should skip it

Sellers with a fixed office or a home address they are happy to use, and high-volume mail receivers, for whom cheaper per-item competitors exist. Note that a virtual address may not satisfy every verification Amazon runs; keep a utility bill at your real address handy.

The honest caveats

It is priced at the top of the category and overage adds up if a supplier mails you catalogs. No annual discount is published. Forwarding costs are itemized enough to surprise you.
