Verdict: the fastest way to connect two tools that do not talk to each other, as long as you watch the task count.

What it does

Zapier connects thousands of apps through triggers and actions. When a new Shopify order arrives, add a row to a sheet. When a Sellerise alert fires by email, post it to Slack. When a Trello card moves to Done, notify the team. Multi-step Zaps chain actions, filters and paths add logic, and the built-in tables, interfaces, and AI steps let you build small internal tools without code.

For a seller the valuable Zaps are boring: routing alerts to one place, logging orders and inventory numbers to a spreadsheet, and bridging a tool that has a Zapier integration to one that does not.

Pricing (checked 20 October 2026)

  • Free: 100 tasks a month, two-step Zaps only, one user.
  • Professional: $29.99/mo billed monthly, or $19.99/mo annual, for 750 tasks. Multi-step Zaps, premium apps, webhooks. Higher task tiers scale the price.
  • Team: $103.50/mo, or $69/mo annual, for 2,000 tasks and 25 users.
  • Enterprise: custom.

A 14-day trial of Professional needs no card. The old Starter plan is gone, and Professional’s entry tier shrank to 750 tasks, which is a quiet price increase per task.

Who it is for

Sellers who keep copying things between systems by hand. One Zap that saves fifteen minutes a week is worth the free plan; three or four of them are worth Professional.

Who should skip it

Anyone automating order-level events at volume. Every order is a task, and 750 tasks disappear fast; at that scale Make is cheaper or a native integration is better. Also skip it if the two tools already integrate directly; Zapier adds a failure point.

Runs our store

A handful of Zaps route alerts from our seller tools into one place and log the numbers we track into a sheet. Nothing clever, and that is why it has not broken.

The honest caveats

Task counting surprises people. Zaps fail silently if a connected app changes its API; check the history page occasionally. And the AI features are priced to push you into higher tiers.

Bottom line

Start free, build the alert-routing Zap, and only upgrade when you hit the cap. No affiliate link; the vendor link is below.
