Verdict: no MasterClass will teach you to sell on Amazon, but the business catalog is the best-produced leadership and negotiation education you can buy for the price of a Helium 10 add-on.

    What it does

MasterClass is a subscription library of video classes taught by famous practitioners. There is no ecommerce category and no Amazon class. What there is, under Business & Entrepreneurship, is about eighty instructors on the parts of running a company that tool reviews cannot cover: Chris Voss on negotiation (useful the next time a supplier quotes a price), Howard Schultz on building a brand, Sara Blakely on starting one with no money, Jocko Willink on leading a small team, Cal Newport on getting deep work done, Kim Scott on giving feedback, and Ray Dalio and others on finance and investing.

Classes run two to five hours in short lessons, with workbooks. Newer “Certificates” are longer self-paced courses with a credential at the end.

    Pricing (checked 20 October 2026)

All plans are billed annually and come with a 30-day money-back guarantee.

    • Standard: $10/mo ($120 a year). One device, all classes, no downloads.
    • Plus: $30/mo. Two devices, offline downloads, one Certificate.
    • Pro: $70/mo. Six devices, downloads, all Certificates.

Standard is the right plan for a founder; the higher tiers are priced for the Certificates and for households.

    Who it is for

Seller-founders who have the tool stack handled and want to get better at the human parts: negotiating with a factory, hiring the first employee, deciding what the brand stands for. A year of Standard costs less than one month of most seller software.

    Who should skip it

Anyone looking for FBA tactics. For product research, PPC, or listing optimization, the vendor academies (Helium 10’s Freedom Ticket, Data Dive’s training) and this site’s guides are the better use of time. Also skip it if you will not actually watch; the content is excellent and the completion rate for most subscribers is not.

    Our stack

MasterClass is not a store tool and we do not claim it as one. It is here because the negotiation and leadership classes are the ones we point other founders to when they ask what to learn next that is not another dashboard.

    The honest caveats

The classes inspire more than they instruct; expect frameworks and stories rather than step-by-step playbooks. The Plus and Pro tiers are a big jump in price for features most people will not use. And it is annual-only, so the $10 a month is really $120 up front.

    Bottom line

Standard plan, watch Voss and Schultz first, cancel within 30 days if it is not for you.
